"Back to School" is a pivotal time of year for snack brands. As GoGo squeeZ's lead designer for seasonal packaging, I collaborated with marketing and Crayola teams to create a limited-edition, co-branded pack. The project featured 5 custom coloring-book package designs, spanning 3 GoGo squeeZ brands. Our goal was to create a fun and engaging pack that sparked creativity and excitement.

To encourage kids to engage with the packaging, I created custom coloring-book illustrations and "color-by-number" activities on the back panel. Through a hashtag on the packaging, we called for kids and parents to share their masterpieces on social media.

PROCESS

Working on this project was such a joy as I got to tap into my inner child. To get into the spirit, I ran to the nearest 99 Cent store, bought a box of Crayola crayons, and immediately got to scribbling. After lots of sketching and experimenting, I incorporated my drawings into the packaging by scanning and vectorizing them. It was a fun and playful process that injected a childlike charm to the final designs.
